QUOTE; THE RAVEN 2010

KUNSTHALLEN 44 MOEN DENMARK

The exhibition takes its cue from Edgar Allan Poe’s poem The Raven and functions as a parallel universe to this gothic tale of horror, longing, love and death. Selected words and sentences from The Raven are used as titles for individual works; they set the tone and establishes an emotional location. Another conceptual and more abstract interpretation of the poem arises somewhere between word and image.

The exhibition features both new and retrospective works unfolding across different periods both temporally and artistically.
