Jytte Høy’s installation is a piece of object-related everyday poetry, marked by simplicity, lightness, asceticism, and a peculiar sense of humour. The artist runs a semiotic study of seemingly well-known objects and materials – a plastic bag, a rubber band, a bulb – in a manner for them to assume, with but few changes and additions, new sign meanings.

The Louisiana Exhibition, New Art From Denmark and Scania was curated by Lars Grambye, Åsa Nacking and Tone O. Nielsen. The above text from Louisiana Revy is written by the curators.

TOUCH. Various small objects is a continuing art project that started in 1996. Over the years more works have been added and are still being added.
The artist book, TOUCH. Various small objects, was published by Apartment One in connection with the exhibition at Museum Fridericianum in Kassel. The publication includes a text by Lars Bang Larsen on the art project.
